Biography Jing Tang is currently a postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Yi Cui at Stanford and Prof. Jeffrey A. Reimer at UC Berkeley. Jing works on bioinspired materials and devices for sustainability and health, in close collaboration with Prof. Zhenan Bao at Stanford. Prior to joining the Cui Group and the Reimer Group, Jing performed postdoctoral research jointly advised by Profs. Daniel S. Kohane at Harvard and Robert S. Langer at MIT and was working on neurological disorders therapies: from biomaterials to smart drug delivery systems. In her graduate work, supervised by Profs. Gengfeng Zheng and Dongyuan Zhao at Fudan University, Jing focused on bioelectronics for artificial vision and human-machine intelligence.

Jing has also benefited from the mentorship of Prof. Bozhi Tian at the University of Chicago. Jing first met Bozhi when she was a graduate student at Fudan University, which is one of the top 3 universities in China. Besides her research interests, Jing has been co-leading translational initiatives and serving as the reviewer and editor on peer-reviewed journals while holding multiple patents relating to fundamental discoveries and materials innovation for sustainability and health. Outside of the lab, Jing enjoys art, playing piano and hiking.
